Vantage ASC Revives GPS Clinics
Having been in the industry for over 30 years, Vantage ASC know a thing or two about Trimble Agriculture products and they are inviting people to join them to share this information.
Formerly known as AS Communications the business held several GPS clinics around the country aimed at educating owners and operators on the Trimble products and allowing them to get the most from their investment. “The events were not only a chance for us to meet our customers, but it was a great stage for the mutual sharing of ideas and experience between each other” says Andrew Williams, Service Manager at the company.
During Autumn this year the business will be holding a number of these sessions at different locations and look forward to meeting 100+ people. During the day attendees will be educated on Precision IQ which is Trimble’s latest operating system for guidance displays. The company aim to cover everything from the initial set up of the display to more advanced steering features and the setup of implements and application control. “We see our equipment in more and more machine types, we can control everything from the steering to the application of chemical or materials through various implements. I feel we have a responsibility to our customers, but also to the industry in making sure this technology is being used to its maximum in the field, something we can do at these sessions” says Mark Griffiths, National Sales Manager at the company.
With input costs rising and an ever-decreasing shortage of skilled operators, our industry looks more to technology in an effort to maintain output whilst lowering costs and remaining competitive. Trimble technology is being employed in multiple sectors of UK farming at various levels of complexity, there really is something available to suit every business and help them realise a saving.
